The musicians

Steve

Piano

Steve has a strong reputation as a musician both in the UK and abroad. Influenced by a fusion of big band greats and Latin legends, Steve’s style is described as exciting and flawless. He plays solo performances through to full orchestra functions, as well as teaching music, and particularly enjoys playing jazz. He has acted as Musical Director for Broadway style shows and has toured with big-name acts. Past contracts include playing at the Sheraton Hotel Abu Dhabi, and entertaining on board ships for Princess and Thomson Cruise companies (the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Canada and Alaska all providing ports of call).

Adrian

Bass

Adrian has had a busy and varied career which has taken him all over the world as well as around the UK. He has played all styles of music and also enjoyed backing many well-known artistes. Starting off playing original music on the university circuit, and touring with pop and disco bands as well as resident work in Mecca ballrooms, Adrian has also been a Bandleader and Musical Director, playing on cruise ships and for major theatre shows as well as hotels, summer seasons and corporate hospitality. He has worked for most of the major cruise lines and international hotel chains, and enjoys keeping music live!

Richard

Drums

Richard started playing drums at the age of 12 years old in Halifax, West Yorkshire. At 17 he met his first professional teacher Martin Davies (the nephew of Harold Fisher the legendary session musician), and this inspired him to leave Halifax and study at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford.

Since graduating with a BA (Hons) Contemporary Music in 2007 he has played and recorded with various jazz projects and pop and soul bands. Currently based in Manchester, Richard continues his involvement with jazz projects in the North-West.
